Introduction

CCL Consulting LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides myAIPDF, a mobile application for PDF processing, compression, and document management. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of your information when you use our app.

By using myAIPDF, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is handled responsibly.

Information We Collect

On-Device Processing

myAIPDF is designed with privacy in mind. All PDF processing — including compression, splitting, text extraction, analysis, scanning, and translation — is performed on-device. Your PDF files and documents are NOT uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud services. Your documents never leave your phone.

On-Device Translation

Document translation runs entirely on your device using your operating system’s built-in translation engine — Apple Translation on iOS 18.0 and later, and Google ML Kit on Android. No document text is sent to a remote server to be translated. On Android, ML Kit may download an offline language model pack the first time you use a new language pair; this downloads the translation model only — never your document content. Translation is available only where your device supports it. On iOS versions below 18.0 the translation tool is unavailable, and the rest of the app continues to work normally.

No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, including:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• The content of your PDF files
• Your location data
• Your browsing history or app usage patterns

Crash Reporting

We use Sentry, a third-party service, to collect anonymous crash reports when the app encounters errors. This helps us improve app stability and fix bugs. Crash reports may include:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version number
• Error stack traces (technical information about the crash)
• General device state at the time of the crash

Crash reports do NOT include any personal information, file contents, or data that could identify you.

Advertising

We use Appodeal to display advertisements. Appodeal and its ad network partners may collect and use your device’s advertising identifier and IP address to serve ads. On iOS, the advertising identifier is only used after you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, the advertising identifier is not used for tracking. In-App Purchases

If you make in-app purchases through the app, transactions are processed directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We receive only:

• An anonymous user identifier
• Purchase status and entitlements (for the “Remove Ads” purchase)

We do not receive or store your payment details, credit card information, or billing address.

How We Use Information

The limited information we collect is used solely to:

• Improve app stability by fixing crashes and bugs
• Serve advertisements (free, ad-supported tier)
• Verify your purchase status for the ad-free upgrade
• Provide customer support when requested

Data Storage and Security

Your PDF files and their content — including text that is translated — remain on your device at all times. The only data ever transmitted off-device is anonymous crash diagnostics (Sentry) and, where you have consented, your advertising identifier and IP address (Appodeal). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect that data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Third-Party Services

myAIPDF integrates with the following third-party services:

• Sentry (sentry.io) — For crash reporting and error tracking
• Appodeal (appodeal.com) — For displaying ads (privacy policy)
• Google ML Kit (Android) — Downloads on-device translation model packs only (never document content)
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store — For app distribution and payments

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing its use of data.

Children’s Privacy

myAIPDF is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request information about data we may have
• Request deletion of any data associated with you
• Opt out of crash reporting (by not using the app)
• Opt out of personalized advertising (in your device settings)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date.
